In order to set up your virtual squad training, we need you to complete the following form. This is a short amount of information to help us assign the right training for your level and aims. This can be easily adapted. So you can start off on one level and change it as you see fit. If you want to change it, just fill out this form again and we will update your account. You will receive the plans via email and in your Training Peaks Account.

This is broken down into the following areas, and you can choose any permutation of these depending on your ability.

Swimming

Swimming sessions are done for approximately 1-hour sessions. They are planned for CSS paces; you can always update them as you improve.

Cycling

Cycling sessions are based on three levels:

  • Introductory level – for those who are starting to look for some structure in their training

  • Club level – a general training programme for those wanting to be competitive, particularly those doing short-course or starting to do the middle distance.

  • Advanced or Long level – this programme mirrors the club programme but has an increased load through the number of repetitions, time at intensity, or longer “long rides”

Running

  • Introductory level – This is an excellent programme for those athletes looking to start their structured run training or who often get injured.

  • Club level – this is a general plan for athletes wanting to compete at most distances for triathlon. The sessions are aimed to last around an hour, with some longer sessions up to 90 mins.

  • Advanced or long level – this programme works well for athletes used to running loads or wanting to race longer distances.

Strength and Conditioning

S&C sessions are kept general with class-style sessions and recording that you can follow in your own time. There are no levels for it.
