Murcia is one of Europe’s most consistent training environments, with sunshine almost every day and quiet, uninterrupted roads. It’s a favourite location for cyclists and endurance athletes looking to train without interruption. With one of our professional coaches based locally, you’ll have access to expert knowledge of the best routes, terrain, and conditions.

This is a place where you can simply turn up, ride, and focus on your training without interruption.

Our coach is based in the region, so can offer camps that work for you. We will engage with you before arrival and set up the experince to match your training needs.

We will need to check availability of the coach before confirming the booking. However, you can book now so we can capture your details and we will confirm avaiability before taking payments.

Pricing

Pricing is based on the duration of the camp and the number of athletes attending.

We separate this into a base cost and a coaching day rate:

Base Price

  • £195 per trip
  • + £65 per additional person

Coaching Fees

  • £355 per day
  • + £30 per day per additional athlete

Total cost depends on group size and duration — we’ll confirm this clearly before you book.

  • General Overview

    Accommodation is not included in this package. This is a coaching-only training camp. However, we can recommend certain hotels nearby.

  • We do not provide food or meals for this camp. However, we are always happy to recommend great restaurants and places to go and pause at cafes on rides.

    Please let us know if there are any dietary requirements we need to know about to ensure we carefully plan out any stops.

  • General Information

    It is very easy to get to us in Murcia. Regular flights to Alicante International Airport or trains to Murcia train station exist.

    Flights are not included in the training camp price.

    Transfers

    You will need to organise transfers to your accommodation location.

    Arrival and Departure Times

    Your check-in and check-out times will be dependent on your accommodation options. We will contact you when you make the booking to ensure that we plan the most efficient use of your available time.

    Kit Choice Suggestions

    – Bring your wetsuit

    – TT or race bikes are welcome!

    – Road or trail trainers are appropriate

    – Dress for generally warm days with temperature changes.

  • General Overview

    This camp is a coach-led one. The camps are organised on a case-by-case basis and will be tailored for the individual or the group.

    There can be a real mix of different training sessions for the athletes and for the time of the season. Our coach aims to give you more than just added fitness to take home but give you a fresh look at how you are training and how you can make efficiency gains along the way. If you have any questions, just ask!

    Suggested Ability Level

    This camp is suitable for all levels but for the guiding, the group must be a similar level or be happy working with only one coach.

    Swim

    There is access to the 25 swimming pool and the open water sea swimming. Sessions can include:

    – Threshold swimming testing

    – Video feedback

    – Technical focussed session

    – Open water skills

    – Open water swimming training

    – Conditioning sessions

    Bike

    The options for the bike routes are endless and impressive. Some of the rides or sessions can be tailored for you and can look like:

    – Bike handling skills and testing

    – General bike rides

    – Transition skills

    – Hill repeats

    – Tempo or chain-gang work

    Run

    The running is superb. We have an excellent choice of routes to do, too:

    – Video Feedback

    – Running track and threshold testing

    – Interval sessions

    – Plenty of opportunities for brick sessions and general runs

    S&C

    We use outdoor locations and space for our S&C sessions on the camp.

  • The training session will be created based on what you want to cover. However, we would ensure you complete the sports you want to work on and provide coaching and guiding expertise.

    As such, there is no specific training schedule—we will discuss it with you ahead of your arrival and create something specific to your needs.

  • The region boasts 320 days of sunshine a year. We recommend you pack for warm weather but bring some layers for descents and the mornings.

    Both the BBC and Dark Sky Sky are good resources to check in the few days before you arrive.

  • Bikes Available

    Bike hire is available at this location. Let us know, and we can organise this for you.

    Accessories

    If hiring a bike, we suggest you bring your helmet and pedals with you. Depending on your saddle type, it may be worth bringing your own saddle too.

  • You will also need some money for cafe stops when out and about
