KEY INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLERS – TRAINING CAMP

This document provides the key information required under the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Please read it carefully before booking your Training Camp with Tri Training Harder LLP.

We recommend all travellers print this page out and store it. Versions of this will also be provided to you at the point of booking.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF TRAVEL SERVICES

Accommodation and on-site triathlon coaching, access to training facilities, and group sessions. Some packages may include meals or transfers as described in your booking details.

DESTINATION & DURATION

Typically 4-7 nights in Algarve, Portugal (or other locations as specified on your booking).

ACCOMMODATION TYPE

Shared or private apartments with ensuite facilities; training-centre accommodation where noted.

MEALS INCLUDED

Varies by camp: half board, full board, or self-catered (see camp description).

TRANSPORT INCLUDED

No flights or transport are included. Travellers must arrange their own transport to and from the venue.

TOTAL PRICE & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

15% Deposit due at booking; balance due one month before departure (see booking confirmation).

MINIMUM PARTICIPANT NUMBERS

A minimum of two participants per camp is required. If not reached, we will notify you and offer alternatives or a refund.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE PACKAGE TRAVEL REGULATIONS

You are entitled to a full refund if we make significant changes to your booking or if we cancel your holiday, except where such changes or cancellation result from unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond our control.
If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at your destination or its immediate vicinity and they significantly affect the performance of your holiday or the transport arrangements to reach it, you are entitled to cancel your booking before departure without paying a cancellation fee.
As the organiser, Tri Training Harder LLP is responsible for the proper performance of all services included in your package. If any part of your holiday is not provided as agreed, we will offer an appropriate remedy or compensation where due under the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

UNAVOIDABLE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES

In accordance with the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, we will not be liable to pay compensation if we are prevented from performing our contractual obligations, or if we need to alter or cancel your booking, due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. These are events beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.
Examples include, but are not limited to: war or terrorism, significant health risks such as pandemics, natural disasters, severe weather conditions, industrial disputes, or decisions by government authorities that make it impossible to travel safely to, from, or within the destination.

ASSISTANCE DURING YOUR HOLIDAY

If you experience difficulty during your holiday, we will provide appropriate assistance, such as helping you to contact local authorities, medical services, travel providers, or alternative accommodation. Our team will do what we can to help you continue your trip or return home safely.
Where the difficulty has been caused intentionally or through negligence by you, another member of your party, or a third party unconnected with your package, you will be responsible for any costs that we incur in providing such assistance.

INSOLVENCY PROTECTION

Tri Training Harder LLP is in the process of finalising a regulated financial protection arrangement in line with the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Until that is confirmed, all customer payments for Training Holidays are held securely and separately by the Partners of the LLP and will not be used for operational expenses.
This section will be updated with the name of our approved financial protection provider and claims process once confirmed.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENT

All participants must hold valid travel and sports insurance covering medical expenses and cancellation.

LAW & JURISDICTION

This package is governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Tri Training Harder LLP acts as the organiser under the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Flights are not included in any package.
