How to return to Training After having COVID-19

There has been a lot of talk about training to protect your immunity and how to ensure you keep yourself motivated. However, what is the advice should you have experienced COVID-19? Read on to find out an update from British Athletics.

The indication is that if you do contract COVID-19 badly, then there is a strong chance that the steps you take in the first few days could make a significant difference to the time it takes for you to return to ‘normality’. If you do get symptoms, then rest up and let them pass. You should not train until 7 days have passed from having any of the symptoms, so just don’t chance it.

There are still so many unknowns for this virus, that it is best to play it safe.
