Coaching with Tri Training Harder is designed to support athletes of all abilities
Since 2018 when we started measuring all of our athlete races 52% of races resulted in a PB, 15% completed their first event, 40% stood on AG podiums, 22% stood on an overall race podium and 9% of race results qualified athletes for a championship race.
Whether you want to get faster or go longer, our aim is to provide a fair and efficient platform for remote coaching and we pride ourselves on an exceptionally high standard of coaching.
Our coaches genuinely care about the athletes they are working with and from this core principle of care, our coaches must all complete our Professional Endurance Coaching Pathway to ensure they meet the professional standards of coaching we expect.
Blending empathy, science and experience, our coaches are on hand to help you go a little faster, reach the next performance step higher or be a little stronger, all in an environment and culture where you feel empowered to challenge yourself.
Online Coaching provides athletes with a personal coach and tailor-made training sessions designed to suit every individual’s aims, ability and schedule. Tri Training Harder coaches cater for athletes of all ages, abilities and levels of competency. Each coach spends time getting to know their athlete, the way they train, what motivates them, their strengths/weaknesses and their weekly schedule in order understand them fully.
Our professional coaches are there to listen, plan and educate you around training. We encourage you to develop yourself as a complete athlete. We believe that endurance athletes flourish when the person is flourishing, so we take a 360-degree approach with our coaching. We see our athletes performing in all areas of their life, not just sport. We aim to encourage a healthy, long-term, sustained improvement for athletes built on the foundations of health, hard training and adequate recovery. The goals then take care of themselves.
Our coaching packages offer significant flexibility to match the needs of any of our athletes. You can have a coach-assisted training plan, a coach-driven training plan, or an enhanced training plan, and a coach combination working with AI and the coach to maximise your chances of success. Not only that, but we recognise the importance of commitment and consistency and offer annual rates as well as rolling monthly coaching packages.
You have the option to choose what you want out of your coach, how much you can speak to them, what kind of training plan you want to follow and if you want to commit to a month or a year.

Some people prefer to talk every week, others whenever they need to. Our packages offer that flexibility
Communication is crucial
Coaching is a relationship. Communicate with your coach at the preferred frequency that works for you, your needs, budget and your schedule; that may be every week, fortnight, month, six-weeks or on an ad-hoc basis. You choose and you can change it throughout the season.
Community
Studies show that creating a performance environment and community leads to improved results. All our athletes can tap into our athlete community.
Finding your tribe is a component of success.
A big part of our training philosophy is helping athletes contribute to something greater than themselves. Often, helping and teaching others or not being afraid to ask tricky questions is a part of that. Our athletes share athlete workshops, conversations, training groups, local squads, additional training tips, and partnership discounts.
