Phenomenal experience. Rarely in sport do you get a set of coaches who offer the full package. Philip is a very clever guy who really knows his stuff. It’s not just about getting the miles in, it’s the biomechanics, stability and refinement of technique that make this camp a 5 star experience. The food was great, the apartment was stunning and the coaches were the loveliest set of people (from a multitude of countries) that you ever meet. This was an accidental camp - I didn’t set out to do triathlon training, but I’m thrilled I got the opportunity to train with Philip. He knows how to push his athletes in the best way possible with his no-nonsense yet nurturing approach. I didn’t want to come home.

TTH was beyond expectations

TTH was beyond expectations

Spent 5 days with TTH in The Algarve in April. I highly rate this organisation and its coaches. The triathlon camp was beyond expectation. The apartment was clean, spacious and conveniently located, the home made food delicious and wholesome, the training sessions extremely useful and beneficial, but it was the coaches that made this experience so special. The coach to athlete ratio is pretty much 1:1. All coaches bring an enormous amount of experience and diversity. I found them all to be extremely motivated, involved, enthusiastic and fun to be around. I have learnt a great deal and already notice an improvement in technique and skills. The group of athletes was diverse. It felt like we were all very committed to give more than 100%, but there was plenty of time for banter and fun. I cant fault this camp in any way and hope to be be back next year April. Than you TTH for an unforgettable experience!

Cycling skills for everyday riding and racing

Cycling skills for everyday riding and racing.

I am on adult cyclist - in that I spent very little time on a bike as a kid and certainly nothing until I was in my 30's! Never learned any of the tricks and games that children do so naturally. I am a competent cyclist now, but have never been shown how to 'steer' a bike, esp in a small space. When and how to apply brakes and how to sit back in the saddle snd shift side to side on the saddle when manouvering. I have learned so much in two cycling skills sessions with coach Jose and feel confident to try the turns and skills on my own. It's true, that you can't know, what you don't know and though these skills seem easy for children and those bought up on a bike, for me the skill in teaching a nervous, older female has been so rewarding!! Thoroughly recommend Jose, no matter your age or experience.

If you’re after a coach that helps , corrects and guides you to do your best. Creates swim sets that push you and help you perform better and better then these sessions are for you. I’ve improved and continue to improve week on week.

I am not a triathlete.

I am not a triathlete. It was with some trepidation that I joined the Dorset Tri Squad, coached by Jose Reis. I was worried that I would be much worse than everyone else and I’d hold everyone up. I am the slowest but it really doesn’t matter. Jose’s sessions are welcoming and inclusive. His coaching is tailored and insightful and I am definitely improving. Above all, the sessions are great fun. I would highly recommend.

West Lothian swim squad

Really enjoy the weekly swim sessions so decided to get video swim analysis. This has been really helpful in highlighting next areas to improve on so hopefully can keep building on that in the next sessions.

It takes a special kind of coach to pick their athletes up when they're feeling down, and Philip is exactly that kind of coach.

Working with him has clearly made a difficult year of battling injuries a lot easier. Thanks for being the best!

My journey from injury to crossing the finish line of my 5th Ironman has been a huge increase to my confidence and also my hopes and dreams for the future.

I value her honesty and perspective on my goals and the room she gives me to tackle training in a way that works for my life.

Denise has been an absolutely brilliant coach so far. She has worked around quite a few curve balls already, always empathetic and adaptive. At the same time I feel her approach is helping me unlock some steady progress.
