Cycling skills for everyday riding and racing

Cycling skills for everyday riding and racing.

I am on adult cyclist - in that I spent very little time on a bike as a kid and certainly nothing until I was in my 30's! Never learned any of the tricks and games that children do so naturally. I am a competent cyclist now, but have never been shown how to 'steer' a bike, esp in a small space. When and how to apply brakes and how to sit back in the saddle snd shift side to side on the saddle when manouvering. I have learned so much in two cycling skills sessions with coach Jose and feel confident to try the turns and skills on my own. It's true, that you can't know, what you don't know and though these skills seem easy for children and those bought up on a bike, for me the skill in teaching a nervous, older female has been so rewarding!! Thoroughly recommend Jose, no matter your age or experience.

If you’re after a coach that helps , corrects and guides you to do your best. Creates swim sets that push you and help you perform better and better then these sessions are for you. I’ve improved and continue to improve week on week.

I am not a triathlete. It was with some trepidation that I joined the Dorset Tri Squad, coached by Jose Reis. I was worried that I would be much worse than everyone else and I’d hold everyone up. I am the slowest but it really doesn’t matter. Jose’s sessions are welcoming and inclusive. His coaching is tailored and insightful and I am definitely improving. Above all, the sessions are great fun. I would highly recommend.
